Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans can change.

If you cancel your booking more than 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 60 days of your arrival date are non-refundable.

To request a cancellation, please contact us using the form on our Contact page. We will confirm your cancellation and any eligible refund as soon as possible.

Changes & Rescheduling

If you need to change your booking dates, please contact us as soon as possible.

All requests to transfer or reschedule a booking must be made more than 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

Rescheduling is subject to availability, and while we will always do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that alternative dates will be available.

Bookings cannot be transferred or rescheduled within 60 days of arrival.

Damages or Issues

Upon arrival, please notify us immediately if you encounter any issues or damage relating to your accommodation or any part of your package.

We will work with you promptly to address and resolve the situation.

Exceptions & Non-refundable Situations

Due to the nature of our experiences and the preparation required, we do not offer refunds, credits, transfers, or alternative dates for:

  • Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival
  • Requests to transfer or reschedule made within 60 days of arrival
  • Early departures
  • Missed portions of your booked package, including walks, fishing, or meals
  • Adverse weather conditions, unless Wairata Station determines that conditions are unsafe and cancels or adjusts the experience

Refund Processing

Once we have confirmed an eligible cancellation, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method.

Refunds typically appear within 10 business days, although processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
