Three nights at Wairata
Three walks, one place to settle in
Explore three marked, self-guided walks through native bush, alongside the creek and up into the hills. Each track starts and finishes at the accommodation, so you only need to carry a day pack.
Your stay includes three nights’ accommodation, all meals and access to all three walks. When you get back, there’s time for a hot shower, a rest and an evening with the group around the gazebo.
$900 per person for the full three-night package.

Staying together
Your own bed, a shared weekend
You’ll stay in two chalets and two newly built cabins, grouped together alongside the gazebo. Everyone has their own bed, though you may share a bedroom with other guests.
There are three shared bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets, plus somewhere to dry your boots and hang wet jackets. The gazebo is the gathering place for meals, conversation and putting your feet up after a day on the tracks.
Before you choose
When should we arrive?
Please plan to arrive by around 2 pm on Thursday. Bob and Mary will give you a briefing before you head out on the Creek Walk, the first of your three walks. Your three-night stay finishes on Sunday.
Are the walks guided?
The walks are self-guided. You’ll follow marked tracks, with a briefing from Bob and Mary before setting out.
How big will the group be?
Shared weekends are planned for six to ten guests in total. Your party will join other walkers who have booked the same weekend, with one walking group on the station at a time.
Will we share a bedroom?
You may share a bedroom with other guests, but everyone has their own bed. Accommodation is spread across two chalets and two cabins, with three shared bathrooms.
How fit do we need to be?
You’ll need a reasonable level of fitness for walking on uneven ground and hills. If you’re unsure whether the tracks will suit your party, contact Bob and Mary before booking to talk through what’s involved.
What if none of these dates suit?
Contact Bob and Mary and let them know. They can discuss whether another available weekend might work for your party.
